sprout: selected poems is a collection of pieces written between the years of 2013 and 2021. beginning with the very first poem she ever posted on social media, sprout features over 250 poems, prose pieces, and truisms written by catarine as she was growing up. sorted by year in chronological order, this collection showcases the evolution her writing has undergone since she began writing poetry when she was 13. it features over 100 pieces from her first two collections, the boys i've loved and the end of the world and how the words come, as well as several that have never been shared, or have not been seen in a very long time.
